Queen’s Landing Landlords:
The Queen’s Landing Board of Directors adopted a new comprehensive
Unit Rental Program, effective June 3, 2008, with the purpose of identifying
leased units within the community as required by the Queen’s Landing
governing documents. These guidelines are designed to assist you in
complying with these requirements.
If your unit is currently leased or you plan on leasing your unit in the future,
please familiarize yourself with Queen’s Landing Rules and
Regulations
Section 4: Leasing of Units. These rules pertain to all rental
units within
the community and define both the landlord and tenant
responsibilities.
The Addendum to Lease is required to be attached to your
lease
depending if you have Existing or New Tenants, please check the
rules. For any unit that is currently leased and occupied by tenants, a
Rental Unit Registration Form must be completed and signed by the unit
owner and the tenant.
Timely Requirements
Unit owners who have current tenants shall register all occupants within
thirty (30) days beginning June 3, 2008, by submitting the following
documents to the Association’s General Manager:
(a) Completed and signed Rental Unit Registration Form
(b) Signed copy of the current Lease.
(c) Proof of Renter’s Insurance
At the expiration of the current Lease, or if the current Lease is extended
beyond the current term of the Lease, the unit owner shall also submit a
signed copy of the Association’s Addendum to Lease along with the required
$100 registration fee. The Addendum to Lease and registration fee must
be submitted within ten (10) days of the date of the expiration of the current
Lease.
The requirements and procedures for registering new tenants are listed in the rules.
Unit owners are required to provide their tenants with copies of the Queen’s
Landing Declaration, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations. You can download
them individually here or as a complete packet using the link to the right
(Queen’s Landing Documents for Tenants).
